EU Data Act

The EU Data Act, effective from 12th September 2025, is a keypillar of the European Data Strategy. It empowers users – both individuals and businesses – with the right to access and share data generated by their connected products and related services. This legislation aims to foster innovation, enhance competition, and ensure fair access to data across the EU.​

To support transparency and compliance, a data notice for products in the HKC Security Ltd. portfolio is now available for download. This notice provides essential information on the type of data generated, access rights, and sharing mechanisms in line with the Data Act.
