HKC Professional Installer Login Area

Follow the below steps to request an account to be created:

1. Go to the Register for Account page
2. Populate the form with all your personal information
3. Click "Submit"

After the form has been submitted, it will be sent for approval before the account will be created. When your account is created you will receive an email with a username and a One Time Password that you need to change upon the first login.

Please note that the approval process might take a couple of days, so please have some patience before contacting our support

Since your account request needs to be reviewed and approved by someone at HKC Security first, it might take up to 2-3 days before your account is created and your user credentials are sent to you via email.

If you still have not received any email with credentials after 2-3 days, please reach out to our support for further assistance.

Please make sure to also check your spam folder before contacting our support.

Follow the below steps for logging in to the Installer Login Area:

1. Click on the “Installer Login/Register” option above then choose Installer Login Area
2. You will be redirected to our partner HID and their login service
3. Enter your username (email address) and password
4. Click “Login”
5. You will now be asked to share your personal information with us
6. Click “Allow”
7. You will now be redirected back to the page you logged in from and your personal content will appear under your name in the header navigation

Please note that you will be asked to provide a permanent password in case it is the first time you are logging in.

Follow the below steps in case you have forgotten your password or want to change it:

1. Click on the “Installer Login/Register” option above then choose Installer Login Area
2. You will be redirected to a partner Portal and login service
3. Enter your registered username/email address and cick Next.
4. On the next screen click "Forgot your Password?"
5. Enter your email address in the "Enter your email address" field
6. Click “Next”
7. A new temporary password will now be emailed to you within a couple of minutes
   • Please note that the sender of the email is "no-reply.authentication-service@hidglobal.com"
8. Enter this temporary password in the login then choose a new password and confirm this password. 
9. Click Submit

Please note the rules around resetting passwords:

Minimum length: 8

Maximum length: 100

Minimum number of different characters: 5

Cannot contain sequences

Cannot be a previous password

Cannot be a blacklisted word

Cannot contain a user attribute

For desktop users:
After you have logged in, you will see your name appearing in the header navigation of the website. If you hover that, there will be a menu appearing with all the sections of the Installer Login Area that you have access to.

For mobile users:
After you have logged in, you will see your name appearing inside the hamburger menu of the website. If you click on your name, you will see all the sections of the Installer Login Area that you have access to.
